Magma Mace does not build charge.Summons a huge flaming hammer and swings it in a wide arc. While the skill is not exactly terrible, I'd still respec the initial point into Prismatic Bolt instead.Magma MaceYou summon an enormous mace of fire that channels the energy of your weapons, stunning foes in a five-meter arc and setting them ablaze.

Its main damage comes from the burning damage-over-time effect, not the initial hit, which are both improved by Focus and +% fire damage bonuses. It's a quick-firing channeled attack, similar to the Outlander's Rapid Fire. Range is 16 meters. The default starting Embermage skill.

Im writing this Guide because I was getting ueber bored with the prismatic bold build I. Disclaimer: First of all let me tell you that english is not my native language, so dont bug me about my gramar or typos D, and second This Guide will be very long and will be my first one ever to be written, but I hope it helps some peeps out there. Torchlight 2 Embermage Frostmage Build Guide by Odir. Magma SpearYou fire a channeled barrage of magma, piercing foes and setting them aflame. Hopefully this guide will help you in picking skills for your build and whatnot. It's worth a mention that any skills that are based on weapon DPS and deal elemental damage (like Magma Spear, Shockbolts, etc.) convert all weapon damage to that damage type BEFORE calculating any bonuses (such as the elemental damage bonus from items, Focus, the Elemental Boon skill, etc). In honor of reaching the final 'unattainable' fame rank with my Embermage (sadly no extra skill point), I present to you my short primer of all Embermage skills in Torchlight II.I've put well over 600 hours into Torchlight II and leveled multiple Elite characters through various NG+ tiers, both on softcore and hardcore, so I know a bit about how the game works. I just started your guide, I'm only lvl 12 and I'm using wand more then anything else at the moment.Would it not be better to put Prismatic Bolt as Left click, while cycling the other spells using Function keys on Right Click?. Really love the guide!!However I do have a stupid question, but what do you assign to the left click? I noticed indicate that for Right Click, you use the Function Key to rotate spells on Right Click, but you don't mention what you put on Left click? Is it your wand that you still have as Left click? If it is the wand, I'm confused, because at end game, you would always be using your spells and never using your wand right? So wouldn't your Left click be wasted if your keeping wand there? For sure Early game yeah. AMAZING guide, GOD I wish you'd do a guide like this for all the classes.
